Polaris ranger will turn over but won.
Remove one of the coils from the spark plug. Use an extra spark plug. A spark plug tester. Or even a screwdriver in the end of the coil. Ground it on a piece of metal on the engine. Finally, have someone crank the engine and watch for a spark. No spark indicates an ignition problem.
HI Gear only goes 20mph [Update - FIXED] The other day a stick broke my hot wire out of the starter. It clicked like a silenoid or dead battery. I went over the connections and saw the starter wire hanging by a thread and it was shooting sparks when i would turn the key. So I held the starter wire to the starter and it fired right up.It sounds like you still might not be getting enough power to start the machine. If you have a charger, hook it up to the battery and turn it on and try to start it again. If it starts, you still have a weak battery. If it won't turn over I wouldn't start with the spark plugs. I would have the battery load tested and check the starter components (Key switch, solenoid, and starter). Other option is to remove the entire clutch and housing but that is a ton of work and many members here have changed the starter without doing that. Also, most people here have used DB electrical for replacement with good outcomes. If so then the solenoid is bad. Or measure the voltage at the starter with the start button engaged. I bought a new battery. Stock was 14ah battery, I installed a 21ah battery. The motor still turns over slow. And sometimes will not turn over at all.
